This focused editor places one new text line at top-left millimetre coordinates on selected pages. It supports printable ASCII; other characters become question marks. It does not rewrite existing paragraphs.
New text is appended to page content. Existing text remains underneath and is not securely removed or replaced.
Verify rotated pages and make sure the added line does not cover a form field or signature.
This is not a full layout editor. Complex scripts, embedded-font matching and editing existing glyphs are outside its scope.
This editor adds a short visible text line at a measured position. Use it for a review note, reference label or status such as Reviewed copy. You choose its wording, font size, colour and location; the same line can be applied to one or several selected pages.
It is a text-overlay tool, not a paragraph editor. It does not replace existing words, reflow a document or match the original embedded font. The original page content stays underneath the new text. Adding a correction beside a value can explain it, but placing new text over an old value does not remove the old information.
| Your situation | Recommended approach |
|---|---|
| You need a short extra label in an empty part of the page. | Use this tool and start with one page. Check the downloaded placement before repeating the same line across pages with a different layout. |
| An existing paragraph, figure or form answer must change. | Edit the source document or use an editor that modifies existing content. For a real interactive form field, use Fill PDF Forms; an overlay does not update that field's stored value. |
| You need repeated page numbers, a watermark or a visual mark. | Use the dedicated numbering or watermark tool for those layouts, or Annotate PDF for highlights and boxes. This editor repeats one plain line without page-dependent variables. |
The five-page sample has open space near the bottom of the selected pages. Placing a new label there makes it easy to compare the added text with the unchanged original content.
Expected result. The PDF should still have five pages, with a new Reviewed copy line on pages 1 and 3 only. The new line is PDF text rather than a page image. Original wording is not replaced, and the sample does not establish preservation of every possible interactive PDF feature.
The complete line must fit between the left offset and the page edge. The vertical position must also leave room for the font's height; text is not wrapped onto another line.
Try this: Shorten the wording, reduce the font size or move the position. Test the smallest selected page. Use a fuller document editor for a paragraph rather than shrinking it until it is unreadable.
The worker replaces characters outside printable ASCII before drawing the new line. This includes many characters that the browser's input field allows you to type.
Try this: Use supported wording only when the substitution is acceptable, or choose an editor with the required script and font support. Do not silently alter someone's name or an important reference to make it fit.
Start over creates another result from the currently selected input, not from the previous output. Each run adds one line configuration to its selected pages.
Try this: If multiple different notes are needed, download and inspect one result, then select it as the next input. Retain the original; this tool has no multi-note editing history.
