Start with the file you have
- A photo for a form
- Check the required pixels and file size separately. Resize the image first, then try its KB limit. Inspect the final dimensions: compression may reduce them.
- A document made of several PDFs
- Merge the files, check their page order, then reopen the download. Keep originals when signatures, forms or bookmarks matter.
- A scan with no selectable text
- Add a searchable English text layer to a PDF, or extract text from one image. Proofread names, amounts and punctuation against the scan.
- A business document to send
- A quote, invoice and receipt record different events. Use the business document guide to choose, then verify the parties, dates and amounts before sharing.
A finished download still needs a check
Use a copy of your source. After processing, open the output in the app or portal that will receive it. Check page count, order, readability and any required file-size limit. A smaller file is not automatically a better result; image-based PDF compression can remove selectable text and interactive fields.
Each tool guide includes a fictional sample, checked output, settings and recovery steps. Try the PDF compression example or preview your downloaded PDF. A preview can reveal obvious rendering problems; it does not certify a document’s authenticity or compliance.
Check how the tools work
- PDF compression measurementsCompare real sample sizes and understand what each mode preserves.
- Verify local processingInspect network requests and saved browser data. Local processing does not mean the website makes no network requests.
- GST invoice review checklistSeparate the calculator’s checks from tax details you must verify independently.
Processing uses your browser’s memory and supported features. Large files may exceed device limits. Fonts, scripts and OCR models can need a first download; offline availability depends on what has been cached. See the editorial policy for how examples and limitations are documented.
