Editorial, research and corrections policy

Learn how PDF for Free prepares guidance using official sources and product tests, what review claims mean, and how to report an error for correction.

Who is responsible

PDF for Free publishes this guidance. Development and drafting may use AI assistance; source checks and automated tests are described where evidence is available. They do not establish that an individual has personally reviewed every page. We name a human reviewer only after that review is confirmed, and do not claim legal, tax or accounting certification.

How guidance is prepared

We start with the task a person needs to complete, inspect primary government or standards sources when rules matter, implement explicit limitations, and run deterministic unit, build and browser checks. We do not invent ratings, testimonials, search volume or professional endorsements.

Business-document boundary

Business tools create editable drafts and perform documented calculations locally. They do not validate a GST registration, determine a legal classification, file a return, create an IRN, transfer money or replace advice about a particular transaction.

Corrections

Rules and product behavior change. Send a page link, the sentence or behavior in question, and a primary source or reproducible test to the address on the contact page. Material corrections update the visible modification date; this is not a certification or a claim of personal review.
